What an incredible weekend!
BayMotoPhoto’s first time covering the Street Vibrations Fall Rally exceeded every expectation. From the unforgettable views on Geiger Grade to the thousands of riders who waved, smiled and posed for our cameras, Street Vibrations 2026 was an experience we will never forget.
Most importantly, the support we have received from the motorcycle community has absolutely blown us away. To every rider who purchased a digital download, ordered a print, shared our work or told a friend where to find their photos: thank you. We are truly humbled and grateful.
Staying in the Heart of Virginia City
We stayed in Virginia City throughout the event, and it was the perfect place to experience Street Vibrations.
From morning until late at night, we could hear the unmistakable roar of motorcycles arriving in town. Historic buildings, wooden sidewalks, Old West saloons and rows of motorcycles gave Virginia City an atmosphere unlike anywhere else.
The Street Vibrations Fall Rally has brought riders to Reno, Carson City and Virginia City since 1993. After experiencing it firsthand, we understand why riders return year after year.
Virginia City already feels like a place from another era. Add thousands of motorcycles, live entertainment and riders from across the region, and the entire town comes alive.
An Incredible Motorcycle Photography Spot on Geiger Grade
For our first year as a Street Vibrations photographer, we found an incredible location near the summit of Geiger Grade, where riders climbed out of Reno and approached Virginia City.
The spot offered a breathtaking view of the valley below. Riders came around the curve with the open landscape stretching for miles behind them, creating the perfect setting for Virginia City motorcycle photography.
We can honestly say that we have never photographed motorcycles in a more scenic or beautiful location.
Geiger Grade gave us everything we could have wanted: a steady flow of motorcycles, dramatic mountain scenery, beautiful natural light and riders who were clearly having an amazing time. Every motorcycle—from custom builds and cruisers to touring bikes and trikes—looked incredible against the Nevada landscape.
Photographing the Industry Takeover Ride
Thursday brought one of the weekend’s biggest highlights: the Industry Takeover Ride into Virginia City.
A huge group of riders departed from Reno Harley-Davidson and made its way up Geiger Grade toward Virginia City. Watching the group approach our photography location was an unforgettable sight.
The sound arrived first. Then motorcycles began filling the road as the Industry Takeover Ride climbed toward the summit. The group seemed to keep coming, giving us an incredible opportunity to photograph riders taking part in one of Street Vibrations 2026’s signature rides.
Capturing such a large group against the mountain and valley backdrop was an amazing way to begin our first Street Vibrations weekend.
If you participated in the Industry Takeover Ride from Reno Harley-Davidson to Virginia City, there is a good chance BayMotoPhoto photographed you along Geiger Grade.
A Steady Friday on the Road to Virginia City
Friday brought a steady stream of motorcycles throughout the day and into the afternoon.
We photographed solo riders, couples, groups of friends and motorcycles of nearly every style. Riders waved, smiled, pointed toward our cameras and struck poses as they passed. The energy on the road was contagious.
One of our favorite parts of roadside motorcycle photography is seeing people notice the camera and immediately light up. That moment of excitement comes through in the finished photograph and turns an ordinary ride into a memory riders can keep.
Friday was busy—but it gave us no idea what was coming next.
Saturday Was Absolutely Insane
Saturday was on another level.
From the moment we set up until the moment we broke down, motorcycles poured over Geiger Grade. We estimate that more than 5,000 bikes passed our photography location that day.
There was barely a pause in the action. The road was filled with riders making their way into Virginia City, and the sound of engines echoed across the surrounding mountains and valley.
Thousands of riders waved, smiled, posed and gave us some incredible moments to capture. Passengers threw their hands in the air, groups rode past together and friends pointed out our cameras to one another as they approached.
The enthusiasm made a long, nonstop day of shooting feel like it passed in minutes.
As motorcycle photographers, we could not have asked for a better crowd. Street Vibrations riders came ready to enjoy the road, the scenery and the entire experience.
Thank You for Supporting BayMotoPhoto
The response to our Street Vibrations 2026 motorcycle photos has been incredible.
We have already seen riders finding their images, purchasing high-resolution digital downloads and ordering professional prints to display in their homes. Every single order means more to us than we can put into words.
When you purchase a photograph, you are doing more than buying an image. You are supporting a small photography business and making it possible for us to continue traveling to events, spending long days beside the road and creating these memories for riders.
We are truly humbled by the support we have received from the Street Vibrations community. Thank you to every person who rode past our cameras, visited our website, placed an order or shared BayMotoPhoto with another rider.
We appreciate all of you.

Our First Street Vibrations Won’t Be Our Last
Street Vibrations Fall Rally 2026 gave us everything we hoped for: thousands of motorcycles, welcoming riders, historic Virginia City and an unbelievable photography location overlooking the valley from Geiger Grade.
Hearing motorcycles roll into town throughout the day and night made the entire weekend feel special. Photographing the Industry Takeover Ride was unforgettable, and Saturday’s seemingly endless stream of motorcycles was unlike anything we had experienced before.
To everyone who made our first Street Vibrations such a success, thank you.
