Frequently Asked Questions
What types of photography services do you offer?
BayMotoPhoto offers automotive and motorcycle-focused photography services, including private vehicle shoots, auction and listing photography, event coverage, roadside/red carpet photo experiences, and brand, business, and dealership content. We work with cars, motorcycles, trucks, custom builds, dealerships, shops, brands, and event organizers.
Do you photograph both cars and motorcycles?
Yes. We photograph motorcycles, cars, trucks, classics, customs, exotics, dealership inventory, collector vehicles, and enthusiast builds.
Do you offer private photo shoots?
Yes. Private shoots are available for riders, drivers, and vehicle owners who want high-quality images of their car, motorcycle, truck, or custom build. These sessions can include static portraits, detail shots, rolling shots when appropriate, and location-based lifestyle images.
Can you shoot photos for Bring a Trailer, Cars & Bids, or other vehicle sale listings?
Yes. We offer auction and listing photography for platforms like Bring a Trailer, Cars & Bids, Cycle Trader, AutoTrader, Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, dealership listings, and private vehicle sales. These shoots are focused on creating clean, detailed, buyer-friendly images that help present the vehicle clearly and professionally.
What do you photograph for a listing or auction shoot?
Listing shoots typically include exterior angles, interior details, wheels and tires, badges, paint condition, dashboard, gauge cluster, mileage, VIN, engine bay, trunk or storage areas, modifications, accessories, documents, and known flaws or condition details when applicable.
Do you photograph flaws for sale listings?
Yes. For serious vehicle listings, documenting flaws honestly can help build buyer trust and reduce repetitive questions. We can photograph condition details, blemishes, wear, damage, or other areas that buyers would expect to see.
Do you offer event coverage?
Yes. We provide photography for motorcycle shows, car meets, rallies, ride-ins, dealership events, brand activations, club events, private gatherings, and other automotive or motorcycle-focused events. Coverage can include attendee candids, vehicle features, vendors, sponsors, awards, arrivals, and social media-ready recap images.
What is the roadside or red carpet photo experience?
The roadside/red carpet photo experience is a setup where we photograph riders or drivers as they arrive, pass through a scenic route, or enter an event. Photos are uploaded to an online gallery afterward so attendees can find and purchase their images. This works well for motorcycle events, car shows, poker runs, scenic roads, dealership events, and venue partnerships.
Can you cover my event without charging the organizer?
In some cases, yes. For certain events, BayMotoPhoto may be able to set up a roadside or red carpet-style photo gallery and sell images directly to attendees. Larger events, custom coverage, sponsor deliverables, travel, or dedicated event documentation may require an event coverage fee.
Do you create content for dealerships, shops, or automotive businesses?
Yes. Our brand, business, and dealership content services are built for dealerships, shops, builders, detailers, apparel brands, parts companies, promoters, and other automotive businesses. Content can include inventory photos, social media assets, website images, vehicle features, product highlights, event coverage, and campaign-style photo or video content.
Do you offer video?
Video may be available depending on the project. Options can include short walkaround videos, vertical social media clips, behind-the-scenes content, event recap clips, or simple promotional video add-ons.
Where do photo shoots take place?
Shoots can take place at scenic roads, urban locations, parking structures, event venues, dealerships, shops, studios, warehouses, or another approved location. We can help recommend locations based on the vehicle, style, lighting, and purpose of the shoot.
Can I request a specific style or concept?
Yes. We encourage clients to share ideas, inspiration, locations, and goals for the shoot. Whether you want clean listing photos, dramatic portraits, rolling shots, lifestyle content, or a specific brand look, we will help shape the shoot around the final use.
Do you offer rolling shots?
Yes, rolling shots are available for select private shoots and projects. Rolling shots depend on location, safety, traffic, vehicle type, available drivers, and the overall shoot plan. Safety always comes first.
How long does a typical photo shoot last?
Shoot length depends on the service. Private shoots are typically one to three hours. Listing shoots vary based on the vehicle and number of details needed. Event coverage can range from a short activation to full-day or multi-day coverage.
When will I receive my photos?
Turnaround depends on the type of shoot and the size of the gallery. Private shoots and listing shoots are typically delivered within a few business days unless otherwise discussed. Larger events, brand projects, or custom coverage may require additional editing time.
How are photos delivered?
Edited images are delivered through an online gallery. Depending on the project, the gallery may be set up for direct downloads, client review, or attendee purchases.
How do I purchase my roadside or event photos?
For roadside and attendee photo galleries, images can be purchased directly through the BayMotoPhoto website. Once the gallery is live, you can find your photos, select the images you want, and purchase high-quality digital downloads.
Will there be a watermark on my purchased photos?
No. Watermarks may appear on preview images in public galleries, but purchased digital downloads are delivered without the preview watermark.
Do you offer prints or only digital downloads?
BayMotoPhoto primarily specializes in high-quality digital downloads. Print options may be available through our website or partner print labs depending on the gallery.
How do I book a shoot or request coverage?
Use the inquiry form on the website and tell us what you are looking for. Include the service type, vehicle or event details, location, preferred date, and any inspiration or goals for the shoot. We will follow up to discuss availability, pricing, and next steps.
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
For private shoots, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Some shoots may require a deposit to reserve the date. Deposits, location rentals, travel, event fees, or last-minute cancellations may be subject to specific terms depending on the project.
