Iron Mountain Road

Iron Mountain Road is one of the most recognizable motorcycle roads in the Black Hills. Its sweeping curves, forest scenery, tunnels and views make it an incredible setting for professional motorcycle photography.
Needles Highway
• August 10–14, 2026
• Approximately 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Needles Highway offers a completely different look, with dramatic rock formations, narrow passages and some of the most memorable scenery in the region.

How Our Sturgis Motorcycle Photography Works
You do not need an appointment to be photographed while riding past us.
Simply ride Iron Mountain Road or Needles Highway during our scheduled hours and watch for the Bay Moto Photo team along the route. We photograph riders at no charge, then post the images online—typically the same day.
Our Sturgis motorcycle galleries are organized by road, date and time, making it easy to find your ride. Once you locate your photographs, you can purchase only the images you love.

Professional Sturgis Rally Photos Without an Appointment
Roadside photography is one of the easiest ways to get a great photograph of yourself riding during Sturgis.
There is no session fee, no advance purchase and no pressure to order. We take the photographs first, post them online and let you decide whether you want to purchase them.
Instead of another cellphone photo in a parking lot, you can come home with an image of yourself actually riding through the Black Hills.
New for 2026: Private Black Hills Motorcycle Photo Sessions
This year, Bay Moto Photo is also offering a limited number of private Sturgis motorcycle photo shoots.
These sessions are designed for riders who want something more personal than a roadside action photograph.
Each private session includes:
• A 30–45 minute motorcycle photo shoot
• A scenic Black Hills location
• Professional posing and motorcycle positioning
• Professionally edited digital photographs
• A private appointment reserved specifically for you
Private sessions are priced at $250 and are offered during select evening time slots.
Only a limited number of appointments are available each day, allowing us to slow down and create photographs centered around the rider, the motorcycle and the Black Hills scenery.
